Q. What is your prevailing billing method? Why is pre-payment necessary?
A. For purpose of simplicity, the prevailing billing rate can be estimated per man day based on number of forms and reports or coding areas and the complexity weight-age. Pre-payment of a percentage of project cost ensures stake of clients and their interest in timely execution of projects and enables us to allocate resources freely for the same. All web services are required to be paid in full advance. Consulting and AMC fee are billed separately.

Q. Please give complete details of the resources you have in place.
A. RiG Web Services has in-house development systems connected via dedicated broadband lines [http://server.rigindia.com]. The systems are all well configured with licenced software, periodic security and other latest updates. They are equipped to be configured for different development platforms as required. We foresee a wireless and mobile office in near future. :) The hosting service is maintained with one of the world's best data center in USA.
The premises are spacious and well furnished with ample spare capacity at prime location near to bus depot, railway station with major corporate offices, banks, hospitals and malls in the locality.
Facilities like tea, breakfast, etc. are available to staff free of cost. A large collection of technical books, CDs and periodicals is available for reference. The work culture is flexible yet professional with focus on studies and work.
With over 150% y-o-y growth in last two years, it is planned to expand our overall capacity in the coming months and also increase our talent pool for various services. We have plans and resources for opening facilities at other locations depending on the merits.

Q. What is the skill set expertise you have on board?
A. The software development staff has Masters and Engineering degrees from reputed colleges with relevant skills in web application development. The design and other works are handled by qualified people with requisite courses in required skills. RiG Services also maintains a pool of resources available as per requirement. RiG Services conducts technical training programme for selected students and professionals at least once a year. Q. How are the Technical Support issues handled?
A. The best way is via email as it not only archives communication for future reference, the service is effective in synchronising communication with chat and email, labeling, forwarding, etc. The support id is checked regularly without fail and communication is marked and forwarded/responded as per action required. The staff here is available from 11AM IST to 7PM IST Mon-Sat.  Q. What are your future plans? Do you plan to come with an IPO some time?
A. Our near term future plans consist of increasing our market reach without diluting our vertical position and quality.
